LAGAWE, Ifugao – A 53-year old man was arrested by combined police operatives during the service of his warrant for alleged rape inside his residence at Poblacion North here around 9:30 am Thursday.
Superintendent Cherry Fajardo, public information officer of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Cordillera, identified the arrested rape suspect as Dick Addakiw Tayaban, 53, married, and a resident of the place of arrest.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Romeo U. Habiling of the Regional Trial court (RTC) Branch 14 in Lagawe with no bail recommended.
The suspect was brought to the Lagawe Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the disposition of the case filed against him.
