BAGUIO CITY – A 54-yeard old man was arrested after he allegedly inflicted injuries to two individuals along Assumption road here Tuesday night.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested individual as Exequil Celso Celino, 54, single, unemployed, and a resident at No. 311, Sim-sim Road, Pacdal, Baguio City while he named the victims as Abigail Ambros Dinamling, 22, single, ESL teacher, and residing at Remedios Apartment, T. Alonzo Street, Baguio City and Mr. John Michael Barnachea Ternola, 22, single, bartender, and a resident at No. 5, Bengao Road, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victims were walking in the place of incident and for still unknown reasons, the suspect suddenly bat the head of Dinamling prompting Tirnola to intervene.
However, the suspect pulled a knife and aimed it at the victims prompting them to immediately ran towards Session road to seek police assistance.
The suspect was subsequently arrested by the responding operatives and he was brought to the BCPO headquarters for the filing of appropriate charges against him.
