PUDTOL, Apayao – A 25-year old man died after he was allegedly shot to death by a still unidentified gun-wielding suspect in a waiting shed at Aurora, here, Wednesday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Raul Dimara Bulut, 25, married and resident of barangay Aga, Pudtol, Apayao.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was sitting in a waiting shed in the place of incident when the still unidentified assailant suddenly appeared and shot him several times before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed by his relatives to the Ama Jadsac district hospital before being transferred to the Far North General Hospital and Training Center for medical treatment where he was declared on arrival by attending physicians due to multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body.
The case is still subject to further investigation to ascertain the identity of the suspect and the motive of the incident.
