BAGUIO CITY – Combined police operatives of the Cordillera and the Ilocos Regions are now conducting a massive manhunt operation for the arrest of the killer of a 15-year old teenager at Pinsao Proper here Tuesday morning.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), said the suspect was named as Marites, Rilloraza, 39, married, jobless and a native of Burgos, La Union, who used aliases as Marites Judan, Florence Macaalay and Brenda Ducusin Mendoza when she applied as housemaid to different employers in the city.
The police official revealed that Rilloraza used the name Marites Judan when she applied for work to the Montero couple In Pinsao Proper a week ago prior to her being employed last Sunday.
However, Judan was tagged as the primary suspect in the brutal murder of the 15-year old daughter of the couple Tuesday before she disappeared.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim’s brother and his companion arrived in their house after delivering water to their customers when they met the suspect in front of their house and requested them to bring her to the market to get her salary from his mother.
However, upon reaching Naguilian road, the suspect requested the duo to drop him in the area which they heeded and then decided to go back home.
Upon reaching their house, the victim’s brother Roger Montero was shocked to see the bloodied lifeless body of her younger sister inside the comfort room with multiple stab wounds on her neck.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Benguet General Hospital for medical treatment but she was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to some 13 stab wounds on the different parts of her body.
It was learned that the housemaid was just hired by the victim’s family after her mother posted in their establishment that she was in need of a housemaid.
Probers revealed that the victim’s mobile phone was missing and was believed to have been taken by the suspect when she fled the crime scene.
Rilloraza is also facing charges of qualified theft with the BCPO Station No. 6 after she allegedly carted away valuables of her previous employer when she applied as housemaid early this year using the names Florence Macaalay and Brenda Ducusin Mendoza.
She is also facing adultery charges before a local court in La Union, thus the conduct of a manhunt operation for her to answer for the crimes she committed.
Rilloraza stands to face robbery with homicide charges for the murder of her latest victim aside from concealing true name which are now filed before the city prosecutor’s office.
