ITOGON, Benguet October 02 – A 45-year old miner was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for two counts of rape in his residence at Goldfields, Poblacion, here, Saturday.
Chief Inspector Eugene Raymundo, chief of the Itogon Municipal Police Station, identified the arrested individual as Lucio Nabaysan Fermin alias “Aga”, 45 years old, married, miner and resident of Goldfield, Poblacion, Itogon, Benguet.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marietta S. Brawner-Cualing of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 9 in La Trinidad for two counts of rape with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the Itogon Municipal Police Station prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
