BAGUIO CITY – A 26-year old pocket miner was hurt after he was stabbed by two still unidentified male suspects while he was boarding a taxi along Lakandula St., here, recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the victim as Michael Cariaso Domingo, 26, married, miner, and a resident of Purok Trail, Tuding, Itogon, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim just came from a bar in the area when he tried to board a taxi but he noticed that there were two individuals tailing him.
Sensing danger, the victim immediately boarded a taxi but upon reaching the Pacdal area, he noticed blood oozing from his back prompting him to report the matter to the police.
He was immediately rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for treatment while the suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
