BAGUIO CITY January 17 – A 17-year old minor construction worker was injured after he was allegedly electrocuted when the steel bar he was holding got in touch with the primary electric line in a construction site at the Good Shepherd Compound, Mines view, Monday.
Police authorities described the injured minor to be 17 years old, construction worker and a resident of Sunnyside, Fairview, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his fellow construction workers were putting up a concrete fence in the area when the steel bar that the victim was holding accidentally got in touch with the primary electric line that caused his being electrocuted.
The victim was rushed by his companions to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment where he was later confined due to the wounds he was able to suffer on his thigh and both hands.
