BESAO, Mountain Province – A 17-year old resident of Barangay Soquib is the first confirmed COVID-19 case of the province.
The male patient is said to be a close contact of Capt. Boni Dulag, the earlier confirmed case of Buguias.
The patient has close contacts in Besao, Tadian and Sacngan towns.
Prior to this case, Mouhntain Province was the only COVID-19 free province in the Cordillera region.
