BONTOC, Mountain Province – The provincial government, through the Office of the Provincial Human Resources Management Officer (OPHRMO), enjoined the participation of all its employees for the activities for the month long celebration of the Civil Service Commission Anniversary this September during today’s Monday Program.
Among these are the: 1) Search for the Best Performing Employees of the Agency CY 2024 to be given recognition rites on December. Guidelines will be issued anytime; 2. Annual mental and physical examinations for the employees (started August 12); 3) “Thursday Fun and Fit O’clock” (started August 15); 4) Clean-Up Drive scheduled on September 18, 2024; 5) “Paglilinang ng Yamang Tao” (September 18 and 19); 6) “Malasakit sa Kapwa” (September 20-21); and Employee Treats (September 27).
According to Administrative Assistant Sharon Felicitas T. Odangga of the OPHRMO, the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence Committee will soon announce the guidelines for the Search for Best Performing Employee Awards.
Also, the OPHRMO encouraged all offices to submit nominations for the best performing employees under the “Gantimpala Agad” and the forthcoming Best Performing Employee Award in December 2024.
Under the Gantimpala Agad Award or the “On-the-Spot-Awards,” are the 1) Most Courteous Award; 2) Most Punctual/Most Prompt Award; 3) Most Industrious Award; 4) Bright Sunshine Award; 5) Brave Gladiator Award; 6) Ultimate Problem Solver Award; and the 7) Great Potential Award.
According to Administrative Officer Maria Concepcion L. Kabluyen of the OPHRMO, nominees must be permanent employees with at least 12 months of continuous service in the same office within the agency as of August 30, 2024; have no pending administrative/criminal case and was never administratively charged and penalized since entering the Provincial Government; and have at least satisfactory (S) work performance rating for the last rating period.
Also, Kabluyen said that nominators could be permanent employees of the agency, elected officials, non-government organizations, clients, or contracted workers (personnel under Job Order contract) of the agency.
Meanwhile, Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. and Provincial Administrator Franklin C. Odsey were one in thanking the OPHRMO and the Office of the Provincial Population Development Officer for their excellent hosting of the Monday Program and for continuously spearheading activities that benefit the employees of the provincial government and its clientele.
