BONTOC, Mountain Province – A total of 60 patients, 10 children in conflict with the law (CICL), and two victims of disaster and natural calamity from the different municipalities of Mountain Province received financial assistance thru the Barangay Muna Program of Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr.
The payout for the assistance was held at the provincial government quadrangle on December 23, 2024. Each CICL and beneficiary the medical assistance received PhP4,000 while the beneficiaries of the assistance to victims of calamity received PhP10,000 each.
Executive Assistant Winston V. Calde led the turnover ceremony on behalf of Governor Lacwasan, joined by Local Treasury Operations Officer Jerry W. Capsoyen from the Provincial Treasury Office.
In his message, Calde relayed Governor Lacwasan’s empathy to the beneficiaries. He encouraged them to remain strong and resilient amidst whatever challenges they are currently ensuring.
He also said that in addition to this assistance, the Barangay Muna Program of Governor Lacwasan also provides educational assistance, and financial and in-kind aids to barangay government units, barangay health workers, and child development workers, among others. By Hail, MP
