BONTOC, Mountain Province – Earlier today the Landbank Countryside Development Foundation Inc. (LCDFI) in coordination with the provincial government of Mountain Province (MP), through the office of the Provincial Youth Development Officer (PYDO), conducted a training on digital financial literacy training at the Bayle Hometel and Food Services, Sac-angan, Caluttit, Bontoc, Mountain Province, participated in by high school and college students.
During the opening program, Provincial Administrator John K. Likigan, representing Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr., extended his gratitude to the LCDFI headed by Chairperson Consuela N. Padilla and coordinators Engr. Roquito L. Cabras, Jr. and Filipino N. Matienzo for their dedication to uplifting the financial knowledge and skills of the youth.
In response, Chairperson Padilla expressed their delight in being able to continuously promote countryside development through the delivery of responsive capacity-building services to agrarian reform beneficiaries, farmers, fishers and the MP youth.
In closing, Provincial Youth Development Officer Arthur Leonard B. Odsey expressed his optimism that the participants learned a lot because one of the top priorities of the provincial government is youth development through capacity-building programs like digital financial literacy training to help the youth become future leaders of the community.
