BAGNEN ORIENTE, Bauko – The blessing and inauguration of the road project to Bagnen Oriente, Bauko was held recently, led by Cong. Maximo Dalog Jr. together with other MP officials.
The Basic Infrastructure Program (BIP): Access Roads and/or Bridges from the National Roads Connecting to Indigenous People Communities: Improvement of Roads, Bagnen Oriente, Bauko, Mountain Province was funded by the Office of Cong. Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) implemented the project with a total amount of 4,850,999.12 million pesos for phase one and an additional 4,950,000.00 million pesos for phase two.
Cong. Dalog shared a brief history of how the project became a reality, highlighting that this project was made possible with the support of Board Member Henry Bastian and Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr.
Meanwhile, Gov. Bonifacio Lacwasan Jr. representative Executive Assistant June C. Pinayakan,conveyed the Governor’s message.
“Nasayaat kayo ay Bagnen ta ni ikapinduwa daytoy nga inauguration ditoy, ket gapu siguro ti unity ti barangay officials yo ket ni naited daytoy nga project kanyayo. Isunga dytoy nga project ket aywanan tayo kuma. Manpasalamat tayo ken Congressman Dalog ta ti kinaadun ti projects ket dakayo ti maysa nga in-priority na. Agtitinulong tayo ta ti pagsayaatan ket umay kanya tayo,” he said.
In attendance during the inauguration were DPWH-MPFDEO District Engineer Alberto N. Gahid, Bagnen Oriente Barangay Captain Domingo K. Bissok, Bagnen Oriente IPMR Paulo Mapangdol, and Barangay Kagawads Gabriel Boguen, Carlos Kidicdian, Wilber Binasco, Jusefina Biag, and Estela Maitang. By MP Press Release
