BAGUIO CITY – The Provincial Treasury Office (PTO) headed by Provincial Treasurer Rafael L. Lingbanan Jr., Provincial Treasurer, received multiple awards for its outstanding performances.
The PTO was awarded a plaque of recognition for securing third place in collection efficiency of locally sourced revenues and a certificate of commendation as the first province in the Cordillera Administrative Region to complete the submission of Electronic Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (eSRE) reports. Relative to this, eSRE Focal Person Lyn S. Killip was given a commendation for her vital role in achieving this milestone.
At the municipal level, the Municipal Treasury Office of Sagada, headed by Municipal Treasurer Chiqui Zeny O. Say-awen, was awarded for winning first place in the collection efficiency of locally sourced revenues and first place for the highest locally sourced revenues performance.
The award was presented during the Annual Year-End Training and Performance Assessment held at Supreme Hotel, Baguio City. The event, which carried the theme “Digital Transformation for Efficient Local Governance,” underscored the importance of leveraging technology to enhance government performance and service delivery.
