BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Mountain Province (MP) reported that the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) of MP has the highest rating in the 2022 ADAC Performance Audit in the whole region of Cordillera.
The announcement was made during the second quarter meeting of the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council yesterday at the Sibley Hall, All Saints Mission. According to DILG-MP Provincial Director (PD) Evelyn B. Trinidad, the said audit was conducted by the Cordillera ADAC Regional Audit Team last June 6 and 7, 2023. The result shows that MP’s PADAC was remarked as highly functional with a numerical rating of 97.50.
“Of all six provinces and one city in the Cordillera, MP ti kangatuwan,” she subsequently said.
As for the Municipal ADACs in the ten Municipal Local Government Units of the province, PD Trinidad said that all councils were all highly functional as well. Based from her report, the MADACs of Barlig, Bauko, Paracelis, Sabangan, and Sadanga achieved a numerical rating of 100 while the MADACs of Besao, Bontoc, Natonin, Sagada, and Tadian achieved a rating of 87.5, 95, 90, 85, and 88, respectively.
In response to the result of the audit, PD Trinidad expressed her gladness and congratulations to the Provincial and all the Municipal ADACs. She said that the result of the audit manifests the strong and serious commitment of all the ADACs in MP in eradicating the occurrences of drug activities in the province.
