City officials commended and congratulated Kurt Justin Santiago for being crowned as Mr. Earth Philippines–Air 2022 during the grand coronation night held in Cainta, Rizal on December 17, 2022.
In a resolution, city legislators stated that the Cordilleran pride also won Best in Leap, Mr. Congeniality, Best in Swim Wear, Online Choice Award and Best in Arrival Award.
Santiago, who is a resident of Camp 7, Baguio city, trace his roots to Sagada and Bontoc, Mountain Province.
Mr. Earth Philippines is the only credible male pageant in the country that showcases young and ambitious males around the country and it is an avenue for social-environmental platforms and nationalism, serving and creating future leaders and ambassadors.
The pageant which was founded in 2004 focuses on environmental preservation and awareness, as well as promoting health and wellness to people of all ages.
Santiago represented Baguio city in the national male pageant–Mr. Earth Philippines 2022 and was crowned as Mr. Earth Philippines–Air during the said competition.
