TABUK CITY, Kalinga – In preparation for the pre-pageants and the grand coronation of Ms. Tabuk 2025 on June 14, participants attended a “Personality Development Training Course” held at the Conference Hall of Tabuk City Hall on May 30.
The training was facilitated by Mundang Macugay, an internationally renowned makeup artist known for working with A-list celebrities, top models, high-ranking politicians, and many others.
According to Macugay, aside from personality development, the contestants also underwent training for the question and answer portion and participated in makeup workshops.
“For aspiring beauty queens, it’s very crucial na mapag-aralan nila ito to improve their skills, enhance their communication, and build their confidence in joining the pageant,” she said.
Macugay shared that this is her third time being invited by the city to train the contestants, and she is pleasantly surprised by their continuous improvement.
“Every year, paganda ng paganda at pagaling ng pagaling ang mga delegates na sumasali sa Ms. Tabuk,” she said.
She added that while she expected this year’s group to do well, the new batch of beauty queens still managed to exceed her expectations.
“Iba yung atake nila sa Q & A, parang bihasang-bihasa na sila. Ready for the coronation night na,” she said.
Macugay emphasized that the public should look forward to a spectacular show, saying that based on her experience with the current batch who have all shown great potential they will only continue to improve in the days leading up to the coronation night. By Edward Joseph Gacuya
