TUBA, Benguet – Concerned residents reported to police authorities the presence of a naked female cadaver that was in the state of decomposition that was dumped by still unidentified individuals at barangay Camp 1 here at around 8:30 am Monday.
Senior Inspector Jim Hilario, chief of the Tuba Municipal Police /Station, described the recovered female cadaver to be 40 to 50 years old and a supporting a shoulder length hair.
Hilario added it was difficult to come out with the description of the recovered female cadaver because the same was in a state of decomposition, thus, the need to conduct the necessary autopsy on the victim’s body to ascertain whether or not she was a victim of rape but there is likely a possibility considering that she was already naked when recovered.
The police official declined to rule whether or not the victim was raped but added there is a big possibility that she was sexually abused considering that she was naked when recovered, thus, the need to conduct an autopsy on her body.
The police official appealed to individuals with missing relatives to help the elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) to be able to identify the recovered naked female cadaver
