TUBA, Benguet – Almost a thousand residents from six barangays in Tuba, Benguet were assisted during the first part of the Tuba leg of the HEALTHIER Benguet Caravan held Friday, May 24, 2024.
Conducted at Camp 3 Elementary covered court, the caravan spearheaded by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas served residents from Camp 1, Camp3, Camp 4, Twin Peaks, Ansagan, and Tabaan Sur.
Most of the beneficiaries availed of medical-dental services such as minor surgery, including circumcision and incision, consultation, ultrasound, laboratory services, ECG, eye check-up, and dental care; and veterinary services including spay & neuter, anti-rabies, vaccination, deworming, consultation, mange treatment, and cattle artificial insemination.
Other services offered were paralegal services, distribution of seeds/seedlings, distribution/releasing of patents by the Registry of Deeds (ROD), distribution of learning materials for daycare children, and real property tax collection.
Philippine Statistics Authority, National Bureau of Investigation, Professional Regulation Commission and PhilHealth were also invited to provide their respective services.
Governor Diclas thanked all the offices, national government agencies, municipal and barangay officials, and other volunteers who made the event successful.
The next and last part of the Tuba leg of the caravan is set for May 30, 2024 to be held in barangay Poblacion. By SAP Jr.
