Officials and staff of the NEDA Regional Office Cordillera welcomed its new Assistant Regional Director (ARD), Mr. Apollo Edwin S. Pagano, in a simple welcome and turnover program on August 16, 2024 at the NEDA-RDC Hall.
Regional Director Susan A. Sumbeling thanked ARD Pagano for choosing to return to the region after a two-year stint in NEDA IV MIMAROPA. Prior to his assignment in MIMAROPA, he was with NEDA-CAR for 30 years starting February 14, 1992 as Economic Development Analyst to Division Chief.
Director Sumbeling, along with OIC-ARD Jeronimo B. Agaloos, led the turnover of the post by handing over the symbolic folders to ARD Pagano, signifying the transition of leadership. Mr. Agaloos expressed hope that this symbolic exchange marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with growth, collaboration, and sustained success of NEDA-CAR.
In response, ARD Pagano thanked Director Sumbeling and the entire NEDA CAR staff for the warm welcome and their assurance of support. He added that returning to his home region was an answered prayer and that he looks forward to embarking on this journey, anticipating a future filled with good memories and shared achievements.
