Media personality Joseph Zambrano is now District 3 representative to the BENECO Board in a close fight with 251 votes versus the 172 of retired BENECO department manager Alejandro Delos Santos.
The race for the District 3 seat was a heart thumping 30 minutes while the precinct reports slowly trickled in at the Pines City National High School.
Zambrano will join the unopposed candidates from other districts Alex Bomogao (District 1), Roseller Ascano (District 4) for Baguio City and Benguet’s District 9 Atty. George Dumawing, Jr. (Sablan and Tuba). By Laarni Ilagan
