BARLIG, Mountain Province – The Barlig District Hospital (BDH) conducted a blessing officiated by Reverend Joel Liwanan, and turnover ceremony of ward building and slope protection projects and ripraps in Barlig, Mountain Province on December 16, 2024.
Maila S. Manao from the BDH welcomed and acknowledged the tireless efforts of our officials, construction teams, partners, and stakeholders.
“This achievement showcases our commitment to quality healthcare and community service, we acknowledge the tirelessly of our officials, construction teams, partners, and stakeholders, your dedication has made this vision a reality, let us then celebrate this accomplishment comprising its possibility on our communities we are being and made this hospital become a home healing and care, welcome again,” she said.
Meanwhile, Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr., together with Board Member Joshua B. Fronda, turned over the key to BDH Chief of Hospital Dr. Janice Ann Sepulchre as the project was officially inaugurated and as a symbol of hope.
In his message, Lacwasan said that the projects are the efforts of our leaders and that he said that it is worth five million from the provincial governor’s regular fund and other sources from the health services. Further, he took the opportunity to express his gratitude and anticipate the health services personnel to continue their commitment to their services.

Dagita ti araramiden mi nga leaders yu with your request and support ket uray agsakripisyo kami,” he said.
Moreover, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Annie Claire B. Pekas recognized the support of our governor as well as the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and encouraged the health practitioners of the hospital to continue using their talents in the service.
“Let us keep on using our talents, usaren tayo nga agsilbi tapnu met laeng ma-inspire tayo nga mang-ituloy iti trabaho, ken maysa pay siguro nga ma-inspire tayo ket diay suporta ti other
offices, dagitoy partners tayo nga engineers nga mang ituloy iti naimbag nga projects ken facilities,” she said.
