LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team ruled that there was no foul play in the untimely demise of a 39-year old painter who was seen vomiting blood on his bed by his fellow workers in their quarters at Shilan here recently.
Police authorities identified the victim as Noli Zamora, 39, painter and stay in worker in Shilan, La Trinidad, Benguet, who hails from Negros Occidental.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was seen vomiting blood on his bed prompting his companions to seek police and medical assistance leaving him and his brother behind.
When emergency responders arrived in the area, they were surprised to see the lifeless body of the victim lying on his bed.
It was learned from his relatives that the victim had been suffering from ulcer which might have triggered his vomiting blood that led to his subsequent death.
Superintendent Rodrigo Leal, SOCO chief, cited the victim had no signs of external injuries that could have indicated that there was a foul play in the victim’s death, thus, his death could have been caused by his lingering ulcer.
