LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – One of the town’s wanted drug personality died after he was shot to death by still unidentified gunmen on board black sports utility vehicle (SUV) at Upper Shilan, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the fatality as Noel Bisaya, legal age, truck helper, native of Samar, Leyte, and presently residing in Tili, Shilan, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was walking in the place of incident when a black SUV suddenly arrived and one of those on board suddenly fired at the victim several times hitting him on his head and other parts of his body.
He was rushed to the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) for medical treatment but he was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians due to fatal gunshot wounds.
Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team recovered from the crime scene four spent shells of a calibre .9mm allegedly used by the suspects in the perpetration of the crime.
