Knowing that some wanted personalities will go home to spend the lent and enjoy the summer vacation in different provinces of Cordillera, PROCOR has intensified its manhunt operations to arrest these wanted personalities.
Dubbed as “OPLAN SUMMERTIME”, PBGEN RONALD O LEE, ordered PROCOR cops to further strengthen their intelligence monitoring against those individuals with warrants of arrest.
Based on the records of the Regional Operations Division (ROD), during the implementation of “OPLAN SUMMERTIME” from April 4 to 30, 2022, a total of 104 wanted individuals were arrested by the different units of PROCOR. Of the 104 arrested, 51 of them were listed as Most Wanted Persons for various crimes such as rape, murder, illegal possession of firearms, illegal gambling, illegal logging, violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Law, violation of Anti-Violence against Women & their Children Act and violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
On the anti-illegal drug component of “OPLAN SUMMERTIME”, a total of 44 drug personalities were arrested for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. 17 of them were listed as High-Value Individuals while 27 were listed as Street Level Individuals.
The series of anti-illegal drug operations have yielded in the confiscation of 49.33 grams of “shabu”, 71.14 kilograms of dried marijuana leaves, and 600 ml. of marijuana oil.
Also, 148,180 fully grown marijuana plants, 6,848 marijuana seedlings, five (5) kilograms of marijuana seeds, and 108 kilograms of dried marijuana stalks were destroyed during marijuana eradication.
The overall Standard Drug Price of all illegal drugs confiscated and destroyed is Php 51,897,156.08.
In the campaign against the loose firearms component of ” OPLAN SUMMERTIME”, 138 loose firearms were voluntarily surrendered to different units of PROCOR due to the implementation of OPLAN KATOK.
Meanwhile, eight suspects were arrested due to illegal logging while 8,351.18 board feet of assorted lumber with a total estimated value of Php 607,408.19 were recovered.
