FLORA, Apayao – The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration-Cordillera (OWWA-CAR) celebrated OFW Family Day this December 13, 2024 at the Dr. Efren U. De San Jose Memorial Sports Center Poblacion East, Flora, Apayao.
Around 800 participants, including members of OFW Family Circles (OFCs) and local government unit (LGU) partners from various municipalities in Apayao, joined in the fun and festivities.
OWWA-CAR’s various contests and door prizes of raffle draws provided participants with the opportunity to bring home appliances, cutlery, and cash prizes.
One of the activity’s highlights is the Apayao Got Talent competition, in which participants showcased their unique talents.
The OWWA-CAR event aims to bring the Christmas spirit and appreciate the hard work of the OFWs through their families and to strengthen the bond with the OFCs, LGU partners and OFW family members from the different municipalities of Apayao. By Michelle Acantilado
