DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan October 25 – Going all-out against all forms of illegal drugs, the Region 1 police scored in its “One Time Big Time” operation after the confiscation of more or less P2 Million worth of suspected shabu and arrest of 18 persons allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade in Sitio Silungan, Bonuan Binloc here recently.
Chief Superintendent Ericson T. Velasquez, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1), said the combined operatives led by Superintendent Christopher N. Abrahano, Dagupan City Police Chief, implemented Search Warrant Numbers 2015-007-D to 2015-12-D issued by Judge Caridad V. Galvez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 43 at the resident of the suspected illegal drug personalities.
The operatives arrested the following persons subjected in the SWs as follows: Ferdinand G. Decena, 47, married; Mohammad P. Sumaguina, 33, married; Fermin C. Decena, 25, single; Princess C. Decena, 24, with live in partner; Raihana G. Pangandang, 23, single; Regine C. Magsano, 21, married; Namraida S. Panganting, 20, married and 2 minors.
During the operation 9 persons were also arrested and identified as Noralyn A. Musor, 20, single; Jenny Ann M. Magsano, 20, single; Mohamad M. Macabanaw, 33, married; Rohaida P. Nasdin, 23, married; Enoc D. Ontong, 42 married; Pinda B. Canter, 40, married; Sadik P. Sumaguina, 18, married; Asgar L. Baguinda, 26, married; and 1 minor. Baguinda was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest.
Velasquez also added that the operatives confiscated 309 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of more or less P2,008,500.00, cash amounting to P122,955.00 and 6 undocumented motorcycles.
The implementation of SW was done in a peaceful manner and witnessed by the barangay officials, media and representatives from the Department of Justice. The arrested persons and seized items were brought to Dagupan CPS for proper disposition and documentation. Appropriate charges are being prepared against the suspects.
The operating team was composed of personnel from Dagupan City Police Station, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Regional Office 1 (PDEA-RO1), Regional Intelligence Division of PRO1, Provincial Intelligence Branch of Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, Pangasinan Provincial Public Safety Company, Regional Public Safety Battalion 1 (RPSB1), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 1 (CIDG1), Regional Intelligence Unit 1 (RIU1), Land Transportation Office, PNP Maritime Group and Coast Guard.
Meanwhile, Velasquez lauded the team of. Abrahano as he encouraged them to scourge more suspected drug den in the city. He also assured that more drug personalities will be contained with the implementation of region-wide OTBT. He likewise expressed that the PRO1 under his leadership will double their efforts by conducting sustained police operation to eradicate the proliferation of illegal drugs menace in the region.
