The steel deck and cable made footbridge was named after Don Felix Paredes, a well-known influential tingguian leader, and it can accommodate at least 1,000 kilos at one time.
With the completion of the newest structure above the river, San Isidro punong barangay Prince Guzman said villagers will no longer be stranded in both sites of their river during the rainy season when the river swells making it unpassable, thus, there will be a significant increase in economic activities in the village in the coming months.
Supossedly, the footbridge was to be inaugurated Saturday but due to the infavorable weather condition brought about by the onslaught of Tropical Cyclone Ineng, the same has been reset to a later date with the Paredes family leading the inauguration rites.
