BAGUIO CITY – A painter, who was listed as one of the drug personalities in the city, died after he was shot dead by two still unidentified motorcycle-riding in tandem suspects along Manuel Roxas road, Lower Brookside, here, Moday morning.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the fatality as Reynold Tagudar Fernandez, 47, live-in status, painter and a resident of Imelda Village, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was in the place of incident when the motorcycle riding in tandem suddenly arrived and fired at him hitting him on his body.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to a lone gunshot wound on his body.
Responding elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team recovered a lone spent shell of a calibre .45 pistol in the crime scene.
