The party is over for a member of a local drug group after anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera and local police arrested him in a rented unit along Legarda Road last night.
Arnold Gabriel Cacho alias Badjao, 39 years old, computer programmer and a resident of Upper Quezon Hill, Baguio City was collared when he sold a heat-sealed sachet containing shabu weighing 4.2874 grams worth P8,000.00 to a PDEA-CAR poseur-buyer.
Cacho had been peddling drugs to members of a local hiphop gang and partygoers in the City. His arrest brings to 14 the number of local drug group members apprehended by law enforcers for this year alone.
He is temporarily detained at the PDEA-CAR Regional Office holding facility pending the filing of violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the proper authorities.
PDEA-CAR reiterates its call to the youth to veer away from illegal drug activities.
