TABUK CITY, Kalinga July 21 – A 45-year old pastor was served a warrant of arrest for the crime of murder by combined police operatives and intelligence agents in his residence at Masoc, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent Brent majaco, provincial director of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the suspect as Gilbeys Busal, 45, married, pastor and a resident of Barangay Mabilong, Lubuagan, Kalinga.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anastacio Anghad of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 in Tabuk city for murder with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
However, the arresting officers were not able to bring the suspect with them because he was still recovering from a gunshot wound that he sustained when he was arrested in Sablan, Benguet on October 2015 and police operatives have no capacity to handle very sensitive patients that might cause his death if forced to travel from Bayombong, Nuevz Vizcaya to Tabuk City.
The court advised the arresting officers to place the suspect under house arrest but he should be presented anytime when needed by the court and that operatives must assist his family in bringing him to court in the future.
