A former village councilman, who was listed among Malacañang’s “narco politicians”, was arrested by anti-narcotics agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera Regional Office and local police earlier this afternoon in a sting operation near Veterans Park, Harrison Road, Baguio City.
Dick Gabutan Bravo, 43 years old, former barangay kagawad of Lopez Jaena Barangay, Baguio City was cuffed after selling a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu worth P10,000 to an undercover agent.
Authorities confiscated from Bravo the buy-bust money and the passenger jeepney that was used during the illegal drug activity.
The former drug surrenderer is temporarily detained at the PDEA-CAR jail facility pending the filing of charges for violating Republic Act Number 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” as amended
