The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is hiring highly qualified professionals, female or male, to beef up its present existing force.
The PDEA Academy is gearing up anew for recruitment and selection of applicants to the Drug Enforcement Officer Basic Course (DEOBC) Class 16-09, PDEA Director General Arturo Cacdac said today.
Drug Enforcement Officers (DEOs) have an entry level position of Intelligence Officer 1, a permanent item with a Salary Grade 11, as well as an equal opportunity for further promotion.
PDEA is looking for 21-35 years old men and women, at least 5’ (female) and 5’2” (male) in height, holder of a Baccalaureate degree, Career Service Eligible or Board Passer with Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or its equivalent, physically fit and computer literate.
For applicants who are members of an ethnic group, they must present a certificate issued by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP).
Qualified applicants shall undergo examination, neuro-psychiatric test, medical and dental examination, physical fitness test, background examination and panel interview. Successful recruits will undertake a six months training at PDEA Academy, Camp General Mariano N. Castaneda, Silang, Cavite.
