The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) is set to sell its club share in Canlubang Golf and Country Club, Inc. through a public bidding to be held at the 5th Floor of the PDIC Chino Bldg. located at 2228 Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City on November 14, 2024.
Bids will be accepted from interested parties from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Bids will be opened at 2:00 pm.
With a minimum disposal price of PhP7.0 million, the “as-is, where-is” bidding is open to Filipino individuals and foreign nationals as well as to corporations or associations that are at least 60% owned by Filipino citizens. Buyers will be responsible for the payment of all taxes, fees, broker’s commission, unpaid dues, and/or costs of transfer including other expenses that may be incurred relative to the approval and acceptance of membership to Canlubang Golf and Country Club, Inc.

Bidders are reminded of their responsibility to completely determine the actual condition, status, ownership, and other circumstances of the club share they wish to acquire.
Participants bidding on behalf of another individual or an organization can download the Pro-forma Special Power of Attorney and Secretary’s Certificate, respectively, from the e-bidding portal.
Being a corporate asset, proceeds from the sale of the club share will be added to the Deposit Insurance Fund, the PDIC’s funding source for payment of deposit insurance claims.
Established in 1977 and developed by Laguna Estate Development Corporation, Canlubang Golf and Country Club, Inc. is a 210-hectare club, located in Canlubang, Laguna, Its amenities include a driving range, pitching and putting green, tee houses, gymnasium, restaurant and bar, function room, clubhouse, pro shop, and coffee shop.
