TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The only Pentecostal Missionary Church in Tabuk was inaugurated yesterday, June 15.
Sister Regina Ventura, minister head said that this is one of 25 missionary churches nationwide that were established this year. She said that the church, which has been in existence for two years now and with less than 100 pioneering members gets its funding from mostly donations from sponsors and members to support its activities and outreach programs, pay for rent and other expenses.
Collected tithes and offerings from Sunday service are remitted to the church’s main office, she added.
Councilor Bishop Samuel Ferriol, of the 1st District of Marikina Pentecostal Missionary Church, the guest during the inauguration ceremony, said the Pentecostal Church here is now a full-fledge church and can sustain its services but still needs assistance for its operations.
Members of Pentecostal Missionary Church-Lokal ng Tabuk expect that they will soon have a bigger church building to accommodate more members who wish to join them.
