On March 25, 2025, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), headed by Loyda Saboy, provided complimentary beauty care services to female employees as part of the CLGU Women’s Month celebration.
PESO also organized a job fair to provide women the opportunity to explore other career choices. Partner employers at the Job Fair were Dunkin’ Donuts, J&T Express, BSI Recruitment Agency, Red Ribbon, Mang Inasal, Puregold, and St. Clara International Recruitment Agency.
The CPESO together with the Assistant Regional Director, Atty. Olivia Obrero-Samson of the Department of Labor and Employment-Cordillera oversaw the awarding of rewards to JobStart Lady partner employers.
Recipient of awards included Kalinga ACT, Kalinga’s Bakeshop, Amano Furniture Shop, Golden Berries Hotel, Alberto’s, Salidao Tay-og Notary Public, Tabuk Multipurpose Coop, Treetops, Bagumbayan Antiques Furniture, Carlo’s Catering, KServico, Tao Ka Tabuk OFW Kabataan Coop, and Bides General Merchandise.
The regional director expressed her gratitude to the participating employers for opening their businesses as avenues for job seekers to hone their skills and prepare them for employment.
“This is sufficient proof that you are fully supportive of the mandate of DOLE to provide employment opportunities to our job seekers,” Atty. Samson said.
She also expressed gratitude to the city mayor for his ongoing support of DOLE and its activities. By Tabuk PIO
