Karren Nobres, SM City Baguio public relations manager, said this year’s centerpiece will be educational for people from all walks of life as the public will be able to witness the map presented in lego bricks in order to make a difference in its presentation for the year.
“This large scale, 480 square-foot, colorful representation is made up of more than 70,000 Lego bricks,” she stressed.
According to her, the Philippine map made up of lego bricks highlights all the scenic landmarks of each region like the Rizal Park of Manila, the Chocolate Hills of Bohol and the Rice Terraces of Ifugao including the Lego representation of SM City Baguio which is located right in the heart of the Summer Capital.
Also, a LEGO My Own Creation activity area for the children is now officially open to the public where children will be allowed to play around.
Nores explained the area aims to inspire imagination and creativity in children and adults as well by allowing them to build anything their minds can conceive and their hands can create using the Lego bricks that has been made available for them.
She disclosed the Philippine Map is on display at the mall atrium until June 21 in celebration of the 117th Philippine Independence.
