Several pine lumber were recovered by authorities in Bauko, Mountain Province. The incident occurred at around 10:30 AM of August 29, 2018.
The Bauko Municipal Police Statio received information from a concern citizen of Tapapan, Bauko Mountain Province that abandoned sawn pine lumbers were sited at Mount Teteg, barangay Tapapan, Bauko, Mountain Province.
Prsonnel of Bauko MPS led by DCOP PI PETER B. APANGCAY and augmentation from 1502nd RMFB immediately proceeded at the area and discovered a total of 126 board feet of Pine lumbers in different dimensions with a total market value of Php 4,410.00 that were abandoned.
The said lumbers were hauled and brought to Bauko MPS for custody pending its final disposition.
