BAGUIO CITY – Foundever, a global leader in the customer experience (CX) industry, makes a transformative, pioneering contribution to empowering the workforce in the Cordillera Autonomous Region. This is facilitated through a partnership with the Cordillera offices of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-CAR) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA-CAR).
“Our connected world opens up many job opportunities for workers and professionals in the Cordillera Administrative Region opportunities not only in the Philippines but even internationally and Filipino workers in the CAR will have an advantage once they level up their skills and training,” said Foundever Baguio Site head Vida Haboc. Foundever is also the largest private employer in the region.
“This is where our partnership with DOLE-CAR and TESDA-CAR comes in; by providing language and skills training to the CAR workforce, we can change their lives for the better and help them achieve their dreams.”
Each of the partners in this endeavor plays a crucial role not only in empowering the CAR workforce but also, subsequently, helping drive economic growth for the region.
“This partnership with a globally respected organization like Foundever, whose expertise in their field is beyond question, and who is a highly-rated, preferred employer in the Philippines is truly a pioneering and game-changing effort for the CAR,” said Emerito Ngarag, DOLE-CAR Assistant General Director OIC.
“As the government’s main agency mandated to develop the country’s workforce, the DOLE looks forward to the implementation of this partnership and the many benefits that will result for CAR workers and the CAR’s economy.”
The tripartite partnership was signed at the Foundever in Baguio City headquarters, and the agreement is expected to transform the local labor landscape. Present during the partnership signing were Foundever’s Baguio Site Lead Vida Haboc; Talent Acquisition Director Rowel Villalobos; DOLE-CAR Assistant General Director OIC Emerito Narag, and TESDA-CAR Assistant Regional Director Jimmicio Daoaten.
“With DOLE mapping labor demands and skills gaps, and TESDA matching skills development with labor market needs all of these combined with language and skills training from Foundever, we can expect to more powerfully boost the development of the CAR workforce,” said Jimmicio Daoaten, TESDA-CAR Assistant Regional Director.
“This partnership enables CAR workers to reach for greater opportunities and allow them to meet the challenges of the current and future labor market. This is really the ideal partnership to benefit the local workforce.”
