BONTOC, Mountain Province – A police officer from the Municipal Police Station (MPS) was recognized for demonstrating excellent performance that helped promote and strengthen police-community relations.
Witnessed by municipal officials and employees, and personnel from partner government agencies, PMSg. Roberto M. Kiwang, Jr., received a Certificate of Commendation from the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on August 12, 2024, at the Municipal Capitol grounds.
The PAGPTD acknowledged Kiwang’s exceptional service, steadfast commitment to upholding laws and ordinances with precision, and dedicated efforts in fulfilling his police duties.
“His meticulous execution of traffic regulations and ordinances has played a vital role in fostering economic growth and development within the municipality of Bontoc throughout 1st Quarter of Calendar Year 2024. His outstanding work ethic serves as an inspiration to others to strive for excellence; hence, it is worthy of emulation,” the certificate further stated.
Kiwang received the Certificate of Commendation from Atty. Agosto Libang who is the Chairperson of the PAGPTD, PCPT Nestor Buhe Puguon-Officer in Charge, and PLTCOL Apdilon Chiday Galong.
The PAGPTD is an integral part of the Mountain Province Provincial Police Office that provides policy guidance to the PNP leadership, helping to shape strategies and initiatives that address public safety and community developmental concerns while upholding the rule of law and respecting human rights.
