LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – A 35-year old porter was injured after he was stabbed by his 25-year old live in partner during a heated altercatin inside their residence at Puguis, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Florante Chinayog, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Ranilou Carico Magbanwa, 35, single, porter, native of Davao City, while he named the suspect as the victims own live in partner, Catherine Padilla Adorna, 25, single, cook, native of Naguilian, Isabela, both residents of Puguias, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim and his companions were having a drinking session in a store near their residence when the suspect called his attention to take care of their baby girl who was then crying.
While the victim and the suspect were inside their residence, a heated altercation suddenly ensued between them that forced the victim to hit his live in partner prompting the suspect to retaliate by stabbing him on his left armpit.
The victim was rushed by his companions to the Benguet General Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was subsequently arrested by police operatives and now temporarily detained at the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station ending the disposition of the said case.
