BAGUIO CITY – A 28-year old project specialist was hurt after he was mauled by three suspects inside a bar along Upper Mabini St. here.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Albert Licoben Cando, 28, married, Project Specialist, and a resident of Tacay Rd., Quezon Hill, Baguio City while he named one of the suspects as Chaser Noel.
Initial police investigation showed the victim, together with his companions, went inside the bar to unwind and after several hours, his companions left home alone.
For still unknown reasons, the suspects, together with his companions, who were then playing billiards, suddenly went near the victim and allegedly mauled him thereby inflicting injuries on his head and body.
The victim was immediately rushed by concerned citizens to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by the police operatives.
