Mountain Province – Three differently-abled individuals from the municipalities of Bontoc, Sabangan, and Bauko received assistive devices from the provincial government.
The devices were personally delivered and turned over by Mountain Province First Lady Jonaliza S. Lacwasan, on behalf of Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. She was accompanied by Rose Marie K. Sinadcop and Garth Brooks P. Liis from the Provincial Person with Disability Affairs Office.
Meanwhile, Olive Fronda, representing Board Member Joshua B. Fronda, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Jacqueline Guitangan and Disability Affairs officer Evelyn A. Kapsuyen joined the turnover in Bontoc.
One swiss ball was turned over to a five-year-old male from Guina-ang, Bontoc; one pedia walker to a four-year-old female in Bagnen Oriente, Bauko; and one commode chair to an 11-year-old in Namatec, Sabangan. The devices were funded through the “Barangay Muna” Program of Lacwasan.
In addition to the assistive devices, seven bags of MannaPack Rice were given to the beneficiaries. By Hail, MP
