Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC) is helping to fulfill the goals of Department of Transportation (DOTr) to make the country’s public transportation system efficient and environmentally friendly by 2020. The Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) has been criticized by people and some transportation groups but the group of Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC) saw an opportunity to make a sustainable living for the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) is the solution to all the road tragedy that has been happening here in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). CBSTC introduced the program to transportation groups but was disregarded, so Cordillera Basic Sectors Transport Cooperative (CBSTC) introduced the program to the Basic Sectors of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
The Basic Sectors of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) studied the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP of the government. They went to various meeting and training to learn more about the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).
They have experience that this program was never “anti-poor” but instead they learned that the program was actually made to help decrease poverty and uplift the country. A lot of Filipino did not really understand the purpose of modernization. Some just went into conclusions, but who are we to judge them for what they believed. After all we no longer trust the government.
Who would have thought, that change was really coming. The Filipino was overwhelmed by the leadership of our Beloved President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. We are constantly trusting the Government again. Little by little we are amazed by the accomplishment of our President.
