TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Tabuk City’s Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) and its focal person Mary Dhel B. Lattot were recognized by the Department of Interior and Local Government Provincial Office headed by Director Anthony Manolo Ballug, for their outstanding performance in promoting programs and services for persons with disabilities (PWDs).
On March 17, 2025, the City PDAO was awarded a certificate of recognition for garnering 99% rating, equivalent to IDEAL.

This achievement marks the highest percentage ever achieved by Tabuk PDAO, also securing the highest rating in the province, said Lattot, during an interview, emphasizing the city’s commitment in supporting the PWD sector.
She also said that the city has consistently received recognition, with a 96% rating in 2023 and aims to achieve a perfect score in the next assessment.
“Aramiden mi amin tapnu ma-achieve tayo jay highest-possible rating,” she said, which would mean topmost service to PWDs.
Also, a building dedicated to PDAO is currently under construction, which Lattot believes will help them reach their goal.
Lattot attributed the success to the concerted efforts of PDAO personnel and expressed gratitude to the city government, led by Mayor Darwin Estrañero, for prioritizing PWD needs. By Rio Bassong
