LUNA, Apayao – Apayao State College (ASC) is set to produce 851 graduates for Academic Year (AY) 2024–2025, the highest number of candidates in the college’s history.
The figure includes graduates from undergraduate, graduate, and Senior High School (SHS) programs in both the Luna and Conner campuses.
Following the Academic Council’s review of the tentative list presented by College Registrar Dr. Philip L. Mandac, the college confirmed the readiness of the graduating class which reveals the institution’s steady growth and its role in expanding access to quality education in the province.
In AY 2023–2024, ASC recorded 722 graduates. Among last year’s standout programs were the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (32 in Animal Science and 97 in Crop Science), Bachelor of Elementary Education (36), Bachelor of Secondary Education in various specializations, BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management (78), BS in Business Administration major in Marketing Management (100), and BS in Information Technology (103). The graduate school and technical-vocational programs also added significantly to the total.
Conner Campus contributed a large share of Senior High School graduates, particularly from the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) strands.
ASC President Dr. John Cabansag commended the 2025 graduating class for their perseverance and determination. He noted that the upcoming ceremonies will celebrate academic milestones and will affirm the college’s expanding role in shaping Apayao’s future workforce. By Krizza Castillo
