LUNA, Apayao – The Provincial Governor’s Office said the review assistance for students is still available for eligible applicants and students may submit their application to the Apayao Student Assistance Program (ASAP) desk.
The review assistance is part of the ASAP in order to help those who need financial assistance in preparing for professional licensure exams. This is one of the special projects of Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr. that aims to produce more professionals who will be the province’s main drivers of economic growth.
As of January to August 2024, the program benefited 327 grantees, with a total allocation of PhP3.29 million from the provincial government, aiding those taking the Bar exams, civil service exams, medical licensure exam, and others.
Under the program, reviewers for Civil Service and those taking board exams can receive PhP10,000 each, while those taking the Physician Licensure exam and Bar exam can receive PhP20,000.
To be eligible for the program, candidates are required to submit the following documents: Request letter addressed to the Governor, photocopy of valid ID bearing address in Apayao, photocopy of voter’s ID or Voter’s certification, original copy of Barangay Certificate of Residency, enrollment form from their review center and official receipt, accomplished ASAP Form, and Landbank ATM.
All residents of Apayao who are pursuing professional licensure exams are eligible to participate in the ASAP which is administered by the Provincial Governor’s Office. The program’s objective is to increase the chances of passing and goal achievement for those who require financial assistance by helping them prepare for exams.
