SABANGAN, Mountain Province — The municipality of Sabangan invites the public to join their post-foundation activities as they promote four (4) of their top tourist spots in line with its 62nd founding anniversary.
Municipalities in the Cordillera region often promote either their known tourist spots or hidden gems during their founding anniversary and local festival, showcasing the region’s natural beauty, heritage, and unique attraction. These events usually last for about 1-2 days on separate dates, if more than a day.
But for Sabangan they will be hosting 4 events, two (2) in June and another two (2) in July. The following are the schedules and registration fees — at 4:45 AM on June 28 will be an Eco-walk to Mount Mangasi-it with P350 registration fee. On the following day, June 29 at 8:00 AM will be Ballay Falls Exploration with a P700 registration fee.
For the two other schedules in July, there will be a trek to Mount Oona at 5:00 AM on July 5, with a P350 registration fee. On the following day, July 6 at 8:00 AM will be Apa Campsite Exploration with P500 registration fee.
The registration fee is inclusive of the environmental fee, back and forth transportation, finisher certificate, lunch for Ballay falls Exploration, and bottled water and snacks for the other three events. Walk-in registration will be in Sabangan’s tourism office at Tiging, Losad. Online registration can be done by scanning the QR code found in LGU Sabangan’s Facebook page.
