SADANGA, Mountain Province November 12 – A 48-year old farmer who is facing murder charges before a local court voluntarily surrendered to personnel of the Sadanga Municipal Police Station in Poblacion here around 11 am Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent Oliver Enmodias, provincial director of the Mountain Province Police Office, identified the wanted person who yielded as Ernesto Sianen Ponkiyes, 48, married, farmer, and a resident of Demang, Sadanga, Mt. Province .
Judge Joseph Patnaan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 35 in Bontoc issued the warrant of arrest against the suspect for murder with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
He was subsequently turned over by the local police to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
