BAGUIO CITY – A 38-year-old sales agent died after he was bumped by a pickup and rammed over by a modernized jeepney along Bokawkan Road, here, Thursday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Edelberto Bagabado Selim, Jr., 38, a sales agent and a resident of Bokawkan road, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was about to enter the premises of their residence on board his motorcycle when he was allegedly bumped by a pickup driven by a native of Sabangan, Mountain Province.
Because of the impact of the collision, the victim was thrown off the road and was reportedly rammed by a modernized jeepney driven by a resident of Springhills, Loakan road, Baguio city.
Responding police authorities and concerned bystanders immediately rushed the victim to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he expired while undergoing close medical supervision.
It was not stated in the report whether or not the drivers of both the pickup and the modernized jeepney were taken into custody by the authorities as of press time. By HENT
