Please be careful when posting or responding to messages in Lost and Found Pets groups here on Facebook.
They reach out to pet owners, claiming they’ve found their dog or cat—but before giving any details or returning the pet, they ask for money to be sent.

These individuals are taking advantage of people who are already heartbroken and desperate to find their furry family members. Please DO NOT send money to anyone claiming they found your pet without proof or proper verification.
What you can do:– Ask for photos/videos of your pet
– Request a real-time video call
– Arrange to meet in a public place before giving any money
– Report and block suspicious accounts
– Warn others by sharing this post
